E'vin looked from Kret to P'then. "Well, the connection has been proved, has it not? In the old Haper and Printer tales it was our ancestors who made the whatchwhers and dragons, from fire lizards." Was his answer as he remembered all the old tales that his mother had taught him when he was young.

"Those are tales. We need fact, oh why didn't the Ancients write how and where they came from? We have lost information on how they bred them how they came, where, and how to stop possibly dangerous diseases such as the flu when it broke out in Moreta's time." he bunch the cushion he sat on angered with how much information they didn't have despite the piles of records in the Weyr and the Harperhall.

E'vin couldn't hide the trace of a smile flitting across his lips. "I'm not sure if you've heard or not, but the Nokas have recently been allied with the Weyr. They remeber the old knowledge, and all that we've lost, or at least, that's what the rhumors going around say."

P'then nearly fell off his chair at the speed he propped himself up. "Do they remember Moreta's time?" he asked knowing of all the information lost with important people like Leri and Moreta.

E'vin shrugged. "They've been isolated here in Southern since our Anscestors came. They haven't traveled North since before the Erruption, so I doubt it. You could speak to them though, to see if they can help with cures." He stroked Kret's head again. It helped to calm his mind and push away the hot emotions of Norkth, still rumbling.
