Actually... She did. She stumbled to the door. "D'rek, hold on a second!" She hissed, trying not to alert the whole Weyr to their little arguement.
Pellith sighed. He remained where he was, deciding she would come back sooner or later to get Dyor anyways.

D'rek stopped and turned. "What?!"
Kirth ctoniued down the hallway and stopped after a few seconds, laying down and falling asleep. He wasn't going to follow D'rek all around the Weyr.

She took a deep breath, closing her eyes. "At the hold, Master would always sneak up behind me.... Naturally, that reflex to get away still remains." She explained quietly.

D'rek blinked. "O-oh.." he said, his voice cracking. He stared at the floor, rubbing his neck. "Sorry."

"So.... When I tell you not to sneak up behind me, it is actually for your own good. I started striking out when he would do that. If you continue to, I might accidently attack you..." Arisa went back to the table, seeing that Dyor was finishing with his food, and would soon demand a sleeping pedestal.

D'rek slowly moved back toward the kitchen, stepping loudly so she knew it was him.

She couldn't help but give a small smile, looking at him. "You don't have to be loud now, you know. I already know it is you." She pointed out.

D'rek shrugged. "I know. Just to be sure."

Feeling something warm on her neck, she mutter a curse or two, turning back to the kitchen. "As for before, Dyor. He bit my ear, as he usually does, and he broke the skin." She said, looking for something to put on the bite.

D'rek tore of a small piece of his sleeve, going to her side. "Lick this," he said, holding up the small piece infront of her face.

Arisa shot him a questioning look, before doing as he said. Dyor, his food gone, was snuffling around inside the bowl.
Pellith yawned. At least they aren't fighting...

D'rek put it on her ear, folding it around the pierced skin. The fabric soaked up the blood easily.
"There. All better," he teasted, stepping back from her. He felt uncomfortable being really close to somebody. No matter what happened before. He felt awkward and nervous.

Arisa ran a finger along her ear. "Thank you... That does feel better." She went to the table, scooping the half asleep Dusk up, and setting him on her shoulder on the opposite side of the wounded ear.

"I learned that when I was younger.. A wild flitt bit me and a bluerider tore a piece of his shirt off, had my lick it and put it on the wound," D'rek explained with a slight grin.

"Comes in handy what a rider can teach you, doesn't it?" Arisa gave a small smile, stroking Dyors head. The flitt hummed happily, drifting off to sleep.
