"You don't know anything then? " Her tone was rather curt, but this was a difficult birthing, and some of the first Impressions. Marvanth, now relaxed, opened her swirling eyes to gaze at the candidates for her children.
Nira hushed her, a told her to rest through their link. "I'll explain then." So she explained.
(I wasn't planning on writing it all out again either...a summary would take a while. We may just have to slow this down a bit, since other people wished to Impress and aren't here. We may have one go wild though, since only three people said they wished to participate.

((Go wild?! *gasps* Sorry. ^^; Weird mood. I read the Impression process, too, so you don't need to explain it all again.))

"Oh," Kaila said after the woman had explained. "Okay, I'll try my best." Her eyes fell on all of the children. They looked magnificent despite their colors. She gave a small sigh of longing as she waited for the next step.
(( Oh okay. Well I have to go in about 30 min. so yeah. Just a heads up. ^^ ))

ooc//If they don't Impression, they become wild. We have three candidates for four children.

((I could make another character.... I just don't like the idea of a creature being left out in the cold, alone.... I don't have to go until 5, so I'm good.))

Taryk nodded. "Makes sense... I'm sorry I didn't know what was going on here. I only came for the hatching. I didn't expect I might be able to go to a birthing, too." He explained apologetically.

"Many people don't know about Abuto, so don't be sorry. Marvanth choses to keep her birthings private anyways. She dislikes large crowds." Nira answered, becoming more kindly as she calmed somewhat. The next step wouldn't be for a while.

"Oh, I see. Abuto, huh? You say that is Marvanth?" He looked at Marvanth, and gave a respectable bow, which he pulled off quite well, for all he was sitting. "Thank you for allowing me to be here, Marvanth." He said.

Kaila nodded at what she said. She needed to know a little more about these creatures if she wanted to try and Impress one. "So why does the chamber be dim for the birthing?" she asked the woman.

Nira turned to her, seeing the rather faint outline of her face in the near darkness. "Wild Abuto are born deep in caves, with damp, dark conditions like this. It's more natural for them, and much more confortable. Also, Abuto are blind when first born, so bright lights would hurt their developing eyes."

ooc// I'll give it about another ten minutes, then I'm starting the second stage. The candidates can come running in late, and do the nesacary actions. Or, we could postpone this untill tomorrow for the last step. What say you?

She nodded towards the voice even though she knew she couldn't be seen very well. "So how long until the next step is taken?" Kaila asked impaitiently. She tried to contain her impaitience and excitement, but she wasn't winning.
