Arisa crouched on the warm earth, running her fingers along a light imprint in the hardened ash. This was where she had gotten knocked over... Where she had first met D'rek. Without warning, a tear struck the ground, steaming as it collided with heat.
"You are stupid, Arisa. Just go back to the hold. At least you knew your place there." She whispered to herself.
Dyor cheeped from under her hair, not yet feeling her sadness.

Kirth landed softly beside her, crooning. Arisa, are you alight?

Arisa hugged herself, turning away from the brown. "I'm going home... It may be painful, but at least I know what is going on there." She whispered, walking in a direction towards her old hold.
Pellith landed next. Arisamine, where are you going? He walked after her, feeling lost.

Kirth jumped into the air and landed again. Don't mind D'rek. He's just.. sensitive, now. When you say certain things, he may take them the wrong way.

"I'm going home." Arisa said firmly.
Home? What about me...? Pellith asked, stopping.
"I'm sorry, Pellith. You should... just.... go find a different rider." She whispered, bursting into a run.

D'rek walked slowly over the lava field, oblivious to the fact that they were all there. His head hung low as he stared at the ground, walking slowly.
Kirth ran after. Arisa, please don't do this!

"Life needs to be simple again!" She called back, running faster. Dyor, having been thrown off, flew after her, chittering angrily.
Pellith laid down, head resting on the ground, a low whimper coming from his throat.

D'rek's head rose, turning. "Arisa?!" he murmured to himself as she ran somewhat in his direction.
D'rekmine, please stop her! Kirth pleaded.

She didn't notice D'rek, just ran. She could feel the heat burning her feet, her lungs burning as they tried to pump enough air to her heart and brain.

D'rek nodded to his dragon and moved right where she was running, placed firmly in place.
Kirth continued to run, afraid that his Mine's plan wouldn't work.

At the last second she saw D'rek, and slowed, but still collided with him, knocking them both over.
Pellith felt her stop moving, and got up, quickly going to where she was. Dyor landed on the albatross's head, chittering in annoyance.

Kirth quickly stopped, happened that they both fell over.
D'rek gave a soft grunt as he felt on the ground, feeling certain parts of his back starting to heat up quickly. "Are you alright?" he asked, looking at her.

Pellith came to a stop, sitting down.
Arisa shook her head, trying to stand up and keep going, but her legs ached, and so did her whole body from the impact with D'rek.

D'rek grabbed her arms to assure that she would saty. He moved under her so that she didn't touch the ground, afraid she would get burned. "I'm sorry, Arisa, I wasn't thinking," he apologized.

Arisa squirmed, trying to get up. "No... I'm going home..."
