ooc// Sorry for the lateness. We had some trouble...anyways, it's all sorted out, and the hatching will continue.

((Does it matter if I don't post much during the hatching?))

Kaila watched as the small third egg started to hatch. She loved the color of its shell and wondered what color the dragonet was. She wanted to help it come out of its shell, but held her position on her toes to watch it hatch. Libby also watched the third egg hatch, wanting to see all of the new born creatures.

The bronze lowered his head, peering across the sands at the candidates. He took a dainty step out of the remains of his shell, walking with more talent than the brown. He wobbled only a few times, and even then a flap of his wings righted him. He paused once to remove an egg shard from his chest, and then continued with his search, calmly looking over each of the candidates.
A darker egg started to rock wildly, navy blue, and specked with bits of white and yellow. It hatched before the paler one, the one side of the egg breaking outward to spill the dragonet onto the sands. It screeched, moving into better lighting. A Spark, that’s was it was. A navy blue Spark, with sudden flashes of yellow and white dotting his hide, large collections of them around his eyes. He quickly got to his feet, blinking at the sand that had gotten into his sensitive eyes. He screeched again, shaking his head like it would help. The healers on the sidelines glanced nervously at each other. They were powerless until a dragonet Impressed. G’mar sat upright suddenly, staring at the strange dragonet that had fallen onto the Sands.
What color is it?He asked.
I don’t know, G’marmine. But he’s in pain. Gherlath looked up at his rider, fidgeting on the sands.
He has to Impress first, if at all.It was painful to see the dragonet in trouble, but they couldn’t do anything.

Arisa gazed at the strange spark, wanting to help it. She held her position, though, hoping it would hurry and Impress so that it could get help.

Libby's eyes wandered over to the newest hatchling, appearantly a Spark. She wanted to run and help the young dragon get up, but that wouldn't be very smart. She'd heard that sometimes dragonets may maul a candidate if he wasn't the one, she was the one about risk taking and still she didn't help the poor creature.

Pythen looked at the bronze. It was such a calm hatchling... Pythen gave a warm smile to the bronze trying to lurr it closer to him, was this the dragonet he'd possibly impress? And said softly to the bronze, "Hello, young king." He kept his shoulders broad but left his mind open to the dragonet king. Everyone else was so worried about the spark, why wouldn't someone step up? But that wasn't his focus at the moment he was watching the bronze who looked them over and he somewhat reminded Pythen about his foster mother.

Honoramine! Your Frailth hurts. The Spark whimpered to his bonded, making the connection. He raised his head, trying to find her form amongst the blurs of white and yellow. The Healers started their way across the sands, aware that the Impression had been made.
The cracking pastel egg split down the center, allowing the first female to walk gracefully onto the sands, her form small and lithe. Her hide was light pink, swirled with white and yellow, the pink the most prominent shade. She crooned gently to the creatures overhead, and made her way towards the candidates, eyes swirling happily. She was the first Cream, and not the last surprise in this clutch.

Kaila smiled at the beautifully colored hide of the Cream. She tried to see over the shoulders of the others to catch a glimpse of the graceful creature. Libby watched as the Cream walked around, finding a candidate to Impress. She then looked at the Spark who had probably Impressed another Candidate.

Arisa gave a relieved sigh as the healers went to help the spark. She was afraid it would go between to stop the pain.
Taryk and Jaren watched the bronze and brown. x3

Dreiya still stood back unsure and yes, still frightened of all that was happening. But made a small effort to move closer to the other females.

Tasia looked at Dreiya and gave a small smile. It quivered, giving away her fear and nerves.

Dreiya felt somewhat relieved inside to know that she wasn't the only one with fear but it was like her angel was saying, 'See you aren't the only one who's scared so give it all that you've got!' and then the devil is telling her, 'You're crying and she ain't doing nothin' about it.' Dreiya gave a glance at the friendly girl and then looked over to the eggs to see what would hatch next.
