As the legend is told, from person to person, the details become fuzzy, and are soon lost. As the records say:
'Beneath the Weyr, there lies a dark paradise. Glows line the walls, and springs bubble forth. Dark expanses of water stretch as far as any eye can see. It is a world under the world.'
As such simple recolections are only known, the true locations of the entrences are forgotten. Some think that they may reside deep in Lower Caverns, in some long forgotten hall or room. Others think that the cave system colapsed, or was never real in the first place.
Some say it was a paradise not for humans, but for Dragons, Whers, Fire Lizards and Abuto. This is one theory that many agree on. While others think it was a shelter for when Thread took hold and could not be uprooted.
Wherever the entrences lay, there is spectulation that a curious WeyrBrat, Weyrling, or even a Candidate will eventually find it.
And find it they did. Trainer Cari, A'ron, Tasia, and G'mar. At the time, they were seperated when they arrived in "the Hidden Caverns", as it's occupents call it.
G'mar and Tasia ended up beneath the earth when they went to see where Emma, G'mar's green flitt, found the shiny stones she kept bringing to him, or hording away.Gherlath graciously transported them. THere they were, essentially, attacked, and taken down long coridors where they arrived outside the Uunik's room. You can guess who the inhabitants of the Hidden Caverns are.
Cari and Ar'on, on the other hand, found the caverns by accident after loosing their way through the lower cavern tunnels. They were confronted, and escorted to the Uunik as well.
This was the point in time when, bsically, the Nokas were rediscovered. Since then, the legend has faded away as the living figures from them stepped forth onto land. The Nokas have allied themselves with the Weyr once more, and are now helping to restore the lost information.
